J. Kristopher
Born and raised in Texas, his younger years were spent in the country. In his late teens, his family moved to the big city of Houston and he immediately felt a hole left in his soul by the absence of all the beauty found in nature. He turned to photography as a way to fill that void. With a penchant for nature and scenic landscape photography along with a love affair with clouds, he has always looked to capture the beauty and mood of his environment in an attempt to share the essence of the moment through his work. He is enjoying the proximity to nature and the beautiful scenery in his new home in Virginia, now able to enjoy the best of both worlds with access to both city and wildlife views.

J. Kristopher is also a member of the Professional Photographers of America and American Photographic Artists associations. His work has been featured at the Westminster-Canterbury Gallery Walk in Charlottesville, and seen on EarthSky, WQED Online, along with various photography enthusiast webpages and blogs.
